The question that often arises for a pet owner is when they should use Bark Off to control their dog’s barking and when they should let the situation be. In general, it may not be the best idea to use Bark Off all of the time. The hope would be that your dog would grow conditioned to finally quit barking in response to the constant ultrasonic frequency emitted each time he or she barked. Not all dogs work that way though, and they may condition the opposite way over time.
The best use may be just to use Bark Off in situations where barking just won’t do. Perhaps at a dinner party when your dog is barking at people, passersby and anything else that moves. Or at night when you are trying to sleep and you don’t want your dog’s loud and deep voice frightening and waking the neighbors. The point is to use the device when you need it most to get the best level of effectiveness.
